If I started my own country
For the flag, what colours would I use?
Such a myriad to choose from
I would pick red, yellow & blue

Red, for the blood I'd spill to own it
Yellow, for the sun which shines my way
And although I am leader of this country
Blue, because I'd still have sad days

Feeling yellow.

I was easily distracted while browsing through RNC photos for my publication. I had to do something with these photos. The yellow seemed to be a good descriptor for my overall mood lately, which in itself makes me happy. Minneapolis continues to make me smile and I'm savoring the last of the sunshine before the snow falls. Thanks to Terese Elhard for these lovely  photographs. She captured the spirit of the yellow rain poncho, I simply put the photos together.
