SFZero

While researching for my next installation/performance piece, I discovered a SF0, which led me to this video – from the task, "Red Light, Green Light" which instructs the player to "create a stop-motion video, post results." (although I'm pretty sure this video wasn't actually created as a task for SF0, it's posted as a link in the comments section of the Red Light, Green Light task, and it's really fun to watch).

SFZero or SF0 is a web-based community game based in San Francisco. It is a type of alternate reality game. SFZero players earn points by completing a wide variety of different tasks, often with a focus on creativity, exploration, community, or performance. Although the game was originally intended for San Francisco residents, its player base has expanded to include many other locales both in and outside of America. SFZero is the creation of Ian Kizu-Blair, Sam Lavigne and Sean Mahan of Playtime, a "nonprofit organization dedicated to producing free immersive art games that use new technologies in significant ways."
